Nexa Webdesign started as a web development shop and grew into automation as the APIs around us made it possible. Today we design, build, host and connect the systems small businesses run on. We work with clients all over the world and meet online, by appointment.
Phillip began his IT career in 1996 as a trainee PC technician and worked his way up through the ranks. In 1999 he spent a year lecturing DOS, Lotus 123 and WordPerfect at Tygerberg College, then worked as a computer consultant at Sanlam from 2000 to 2010. With fifteen years of digital experience behind him he founded Nexa Webdesign to do the design work he had always wanted to do, and he still runs the servers himself.
Katherine qualified in 2003 at the AAA School of Advertising, specialising in art direction after earlier studies in desktop publishing. After years abroad she settled in South Africa and now serves clients in New Zealand, the UK, Australia, Germany and Greece. Her work follows minimalist principles with a debt to the Bauhaus. Outside work she writes flash fiction, illustrates, and co-produces a podcast on human nature.
